The cell-autonomous nature of Cysu. a Engrailed-GAL4 > EGFP expression is limited to the posterior compartment of the adult wing. Activation of CysuIR with the Engrailed GAL4 driver causes the wing morphology to change only in the posterior compartment. The posterior part of the wing appears extremely kind of flimsy. b A time-lapse video of an Esg-GAL4 > CysuIR fly shows that the wings form and expand completely normally in these flies. However, after a few hours, the wings begin to deteriorate. After approximately 3 hours, a complete expansion the wings show a collapsed appearance
