  1. GFP expression was scored in detail from at least three embryos from each of the Tg(-4725sox10:GFP)ba4 and Tg(-1252sox10:GFP)ba5 lines. Embryos were examined at the stages indicated by fluorescent microscopy at 600× and cells expressing GFP scored by position and morphology. The fluorescent signal in each GFP expressing cell type was scored according to the following levels: – none observed, +/- very weak, + weak, ++ good, +++ strong, nd not determined. Data for the psox10-1252:GFP construct was deduced from at least 40 transiently transgenic embryos.
