(B): A Dictyostelium cell expressing calnexin-GFP to visualize the endoplasmic reticulum is shown in the upper panels. Note that the perinuclear region is intensively labeled as observed previously for calnexin-GFP and antibody-stained preparations, whereas a vacuole in the left part of the cell is devoid of any label.
