Error bars represent one SD from the mean and at least three replicates were used. *, denotes P ≤ 0.05 between group means. A minimum of 10,000 cells were analyzed. (b) Serial count analysis of percentage of lacZ-positive OSE cells as a function of age. The percentage of lacZ-positive OSE cells at P5 and P10 is quite similar to that obtained at these ages using FACS. Error bars represent one SD from the mean and at least three ovaries were counted. *, denotes P ≤ 0.05 between means.
