From: Maternal Oct-4 is a potential key regulator of the developmental competence of mouse oocytes
Down-regulation of Stella gene expression in MIINSN oocytes. The gel electrophoresis is representative of the relative number of transcripts for each of the five maternal-effect genes analysed. When comparing MIINSN with MIISN oocytes, of the five genes analysed, only Stella was significantly regulated with a 1.4-fold down-regulation in MIINSN oocytes.
