The number of IL1 neurons per worm was determined for the lkEx4[P_elp-1::elp-1(Δ11–16)::nls::gfp, rol-6(su1006)] strain alone and for the lkEx4[P_elp-1::elp-1(Δ11–16)::nls::gfp, rol-6(su1006)] strain in the deg-1(u38) dominant gain-of-function mutant background. Results are reported as number of IL1 neurons per worm +/- the standard deviation. p < 0.001 from a one-tailed T-test.
