  1. Cells isolated from dispersed St 29/30 (E6.5) lumbar sympathetic ganglia were plated onto poly-lysine and laminin coated cover slips and allowed to attach for 2 hrs. Cover slips were then fixed and stained for p75 NTR and Hu C/D using double immunofluorescence. P75 NTR marks all cells derived from the neural crest, regardless of their state of differentiation. Hu C/D is a neural-specific RNA binding protein that is an early marker of neural differentiation. Each experiment is a separate plating and 3 cover slips were counted for each experiment.
