In this figure, one immunopositive-cell for Neurofilament in the field whose nuclei are labelled by the apoptosis detection method (arrow). (C) Double-labelling for TUNEL (in red) and BrdU (in green) after 2 hr injection; co-labelling was never observed, indicating that precursors are not dying in the Necdin mutant animals.
