Table 3 Identification of Wnt-1 and β-catenin responsive genes in a twelve hour co-culture assay and a stable cell line overexpressing the non-degradable β-catenin mutant 4145β-catenin. Differential screening was performed using labeled cDNA isolated from a twelve hour Wnt-1 co-culture and a stably transfected C57MG cell line that overexpresses the stable β-catenin mutant 4145β-catenin. The labeled cDNA was hybridized overnight with membranes spotted with the putative Wnt-1 responsive sequences. Signals were quantified using the PhosphorImager, and the genes were classified based on their response to Wnt-1 signaling and high levels of β-catenin.
