Neuromast electroablation induces an inflammatory response. Compound transgenic Tg(cxcr4b:mRFP; mpx:GFP) fish harboring neutrophils expressing green fluorescent protein and neuromasts labeled in red were used to study neutrophil inflammation induced by neuromast electroablation.
