Red squares indicate the distributions for LXD motifs of known cofactors. Cofactors falling on the diagonal have only two motifs. B. RNAi screen schematic showing the construct of the expression and reporter plasmids. The screen is designed to detect endogenous cofactors that are necessary for the ecdysone response of the luciferase reporter gene. C. Assay transfection and reporter response control tests. Data shown indicates the system is ecdysone responsive as significantly higher levels of luciferase activity was detected cells treated with ecdysone.
