  1. Exponentially growing cells were diluted to 1 × 106 cells/ml and incubated with 500 μM SNP or 500 μM H2O2 for 24 h. Cells were counted and plated in association with Klebsiella aerogenes for colony number scoring. The percentage of survival is relative to the untreated control. The results are significant of six independent experiments.
