Increased insulin-stimulated PKB/Akt activation in Irs2-/- kidney. (A) Twenty μg of kidney lysates from vehicle ("-") and insulin("+") -injected 5-6 wk Irs2+/+ and Irs2-/- mice were separated on 10% SDS-PAGE and probed by Western blotting with anti-phospho-PKB/Akt Thr308, anti-phospho-PKB/Akt Ser473 and anti-PKB/Akt. GAPDH was used as a loading control. (B, C) Band intensities were quantified using Scion Image software.
