(C) Shows a different focal plane of the worm shown in (B) to make the ends of the distal M2s visible. The arrowheads indicate a misplaced M2 neuron cell body (D), conspicuous varicosities (G, K, O), ectopic branches (H), misguided axons (L) or truncated axons (R). The scale bar in (B) represents 20 μm and applies to all photographs.
